About Us

Just call us the seis DiStefanos. If you don’t speak Spanish I will help you, seis means six. Our family is chasing God’s call to missions on our lives. We have lived in various places over the span of our marriage, including Guatemala where we spent time as missionaries. We are now living stateside while supporting our ministry team in Guatemala.

La Familia

As a collective unit we work pretty well, but let’s face it, we are parents raising four kids–how normal can you get? We are imperfectly perfected through Christ. We each have weaknesses and strengths and we get on each others nerves. The one thing we all have in common is that we love the Lord. He is the chord that binds us. We strive to be parents who instill a love for our Savior in our kids. We pray that through our actions our kids will learn how to love like He loves and chase the call He puts on their lives individually.

Just the Basics

We have an extreme love for the people and places God created. We love to hike, to adventure, to fish, listen to music, meet new people and mostly to spend time with family and friends. We are homeschoolers (insert gasp), I bet I just lost half the audience! That’s ok because I gained a ton (insert fist bump). Homeschoolers are loyal to their people! Enough about that…

We are not unique, we are simply surrendered.  Wholly surrendered to doing life God’s way and on His terms.  We know that ANY family at ANY time can choose to fully surrender to His will and it brings us immense joy to see families pursue him.

I could yammer on and on about our background in schooling and stupid decisions and glorious rebounds or you could just follow our journey and be part of it.

Here is what you need to know in a nutshell: we are pumped, I mean super pumped to be a part of the work God is doing in lives of people in all nations all over the world. We are also very excited for you (yup, picture me pointing at you) being part of that journey.

So buckle up! We aim to follow Christ in all we do. It doesn’t always appear to make sense to us with our limited understanding, but we serve a great God with great plans and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for our family, those God puts in our path and all those joining us on this fabulous journey!
